Sweater Perfection

Rag & Bone

Zadig & Voltaire

Sweaters are a fall must have. The third sweater is my personal favorite, it's practically a biker jacket in sweater form. So killer.

Roberto Cavalli Fall 2011

Roberto Cavalli is one of my favorite designers. His work shows exactly what I'm loving, and have always loved for fall. Flowing layers and fur. With his feathers added and beautiful neutrals is creates the perfect fall look. What I'd do to own his clothes...... ahhhh dead

star print
  • My favorite textile for fall has to be star print. A modern patriotic print that screams rock n roll chic.
loafers
  • Men's wear is big for women, (blazers, chino trousers, boyfriend button downs, etc) but you don't really think of men's shoes on women. Loafers are girly with the cute grandma vibe, but have the polished boyfriend effect.
sheer wide leg pants
  • I am obsessed with these! Coming from someone who is self conscious about my legs at times, they're the perfect mix of showing off your legs and staying warm. I haven't warmed up to the upcoming flare-jean/pants trend, but I love this. It's like a more sensible maxi skirt, but still positively outrageous.
asymmetrical skirts
  • Loving asymmetrical skirts sososo much! They'd be easy to make, or diy, and are now accessible to get. The look screams fashion and will be amazing in fall with lace or knit tights.
jumpsuits
  • Jumpsuits are comfortable and cute. They're so warm and though casual, paired with a tailored blazer or a biker jacket they look amazing dressed up.
sweater dresses
  • Sweater dresses are so cute, so grunge, and so in. Warm and cute, paired with neutral leggings and combat boots looks amazing.
chambray
  • Chambray is one of my favorite fabrics. so comfortable, and very cute. I can't wait to see what new chambray styles are coming out into stores soon.
spiked flats
  • Spiked flats are personally my favorite out of the whole list. A big statement piece and they can be dressed down or dressed up. Once I find the right flats, a diy is definitely coming!

*sorry about the messiness of the post, blogspot is so hard to get pictures where you want, so I just went for a strange collage look.

Summer to Fall bag line-up

The majority of these are thrifted or I bought so long back from the stores they probably won't even have them, so I won't bother listing them this time. But for the in between fall and summer time frame, bags should be light weight and fun.

Which bag is your favorite?

Jeffrey Campbell Favorites + Fall Foxtails

Jeffrey Campbell can do no wrong. Though occasionally having designs too ridiculous for me to even understand, or having blatant similarities to other designers (the phrase originality is dead somewhat applies) he is definitely one of the most innovative shoe designers right now. These are a few of my favorites from his newer collection and the shoes I'd be most prone to wear for fall.

Dollskill Foxtails

My favorite fall accessory for quite some time now has been foxtails, raccoon tails, etc. I'm not the biggest fan of real fur and typically the faux fur ones look too cheap so I've had a hard time finding one I like. They're so versatile and match everything. Especially cute if you clip in your hair or on a side belt loop and bags of course.
