Russian Tea Cakes Recipe

Russian tea cakes (or Mexican/Italian wedding cake cookies) are the cutest cookies around. I'm not much of a baker, but I couldn't resist making these. These beaut's only took about 25 easy minutes to make.

Ingredients
2 sticks of butter
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1/3 cup of walnuts
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Soften butter (sitting out on the counter + fifteen seconds in the microwave should do)
In a bowl (duh) blend the butter with about one tablespoon of vanilla extract.
Add powdered sugar, blend
Add flour, blend
After it's looking like cookie dough add your walnuts. I literally just poured a little straight from the bag.
Make them into little dough spheres and put 'em on your nonstick pan
Bake for 10-15 minutes
Once fully cool (trust me don't rush it!), roll with powdered sugar

Store 'em in the refrigerator if you cooked them for under 15 minutes and they're not completely done, and personally I like them better chilled. They taste best with apple juice. Or well, um, everything does so... Try and ignore the bad quality instagram photos (brannan effect), my camera was dead.
